Meet Waffles

Meet Waffles! Waffles is a 16 week old Malinois/German Shepherd mix puppy as of January 15th, who was set to be euthanized after being abandoned at the San Bernardino City Shelter with his littermates when he was 8 weeks old. A woman drove all the way from Manhattan Beach to adopt him when he hit 11 weeks old. Waffles weighed just four pounds and was suffering from malnourishment, pneumonia, giardia and coccidia. She paid for all his vetting and nursed him back to health. About a month later, he is healthy, happy and thriving with her, living his best puppy life. Because of the fires nearby, his rescuer reached out to us for help finding him a good home. With all the devastation in LA, she figured he would not find a home there. So we’re hoping to help find Waffles the perfect home. Waffles loves playing with his older German Shepherd mix foster brother and enjoys meeting new people. He is good with older kids but is a teething puppy so would need to be supervised around smaller children. He gets along with his foster sibling cats, but he does want to chase them. He is doing great on potty and crate training and learning some basic obedience. He settles nicely in a play pen and hasn’t shown any separation anxiety. He is a sweet, smart puppy who wants to connect with a person who can spend quality time playing with him and engaging his mind. Please share Waffles and help him find his family.
