I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization

Meet Adler

Meet Adler! Looking for a dog that is tons of fun with a bit of a quirky character, then he’s your guy! He is a one-year-old Poodle mix who weighs 18 lbs. He was recently rescued from the shelter as he was on euthanasia list because of some minor medical issues. He was found covered in burrs and foxtails and one was causing him so much discomfort he was limping, fortunately it was nothing too serious. He is now pain free and currently living in a loving foster home with multiple dogs of all ages and sizes. Adler does love to wrestle around and run in the back yard with the other dogs, and playing with toys, but his favorite past time is going for walks with his foster mom. He makes a wonderful office assistant while working from home he finds the most awkward places to lay but sleeps peacefully waiting for your work day to be over. He has no problem joining you on the couch to watch television or jumping up and finding a spot at the end of the bed when it is time to go to sleep. He is not a big barker but will join in with a few of his own “woofs” when the others are having a bark fest when the Amazon truck arrives.   Adler’s ideal home would be with a dog savvy family who understands that rescue dogs can have a few quirks. While he gets along with all dogs he could easily be an only pet as well he doesn’t need the companionship of other dogs. He truly is a sweet boy and would make a perfect addition to any family looking to give a dog a second chance at a better life. Sound like a good match? Get your application in today!
