Animal Rescue of the Rockies

ARR was formed in 2003 to provide an alternative to shelter environments for homeless dogs and cats. By providing foster homes as a temporary measure until forever homes can be found, our pets are socialized and cared for individually.

Meet Ringo (Courtesy)

This dog is a courtesy listing and not one of our dogs. Please contact the email listed in this post. Meet Ringo! Ringo’s journey to a better life started when he was left abandoned on the side of the road with all his belongings. He waited all day, hoping his owners would return, but they never did. Just as the sun began to set, the director of the rescue pulled over and saw Ringo’s sad eyes. Without hesitation, Ringo jumped right in, knowing it was his lucky day! Since arriving at his foster home, Ringo has been thriving! He’s the friendliest, happiest dog you’ll ever meet. Easygoing and loving, Ringo is already potty and crate trained, making him an ideal houseguest. He gets along with every dog he’s met and loves running and playing with his furry friends. When it’s treat time, Ringo does the cutest little “tippy-tap” dance that will melt your heart! At about 1-2 years old and weighing 55 lbs, Ringo is still a big puppy at heart. He craves love, attention, and companionship. While he’s full of energy, he’s still learning how to manage his excitement and may jump when he's thrilled. For this reason, we think he’d do best in a home with kids who are stable on their feet. Though he hasn’t met many cats, the one he did meet scared him. Ringo’s energy level is moderate – he’s up for adventure but also happy to relax at home. His perfect family is one that will include him in their activities and take him on exciting walks (he’s fantastic on a leash!). If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s ready for anything, Ringo might just be the perfect match for you. Ringo's forever family will be lucky to have such a joyful and loving dog in their lives! Apply to adopt Ringo today and give him the forever home he deserves! For more information, reach out to: [email protected] [email protected] 602-743-0006 Ringo is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but he’s available for adoption across the country! His adoption fee includes transport costs.
