Nola was found wandering alone at a gas station in a remote part of Louisiana. By pure fate, the director of our rescue happened to stop at that very station during a work trip, and Nola jumped right into their car. We believe she was shaved (except for the tip of her tail) and abandoned. Once her fur grows back, she’s going to be a beautiful, fluffy girl! Nola is what we like to call a "stage 5 clinger" — she loves being near her people and can’t get enough snuggles. We believe this attachment is a result of her past abandonment, and it's heartbreaking to think of what she’s been through. But, despite her rough start, Nola is as sweet as can be. She loves everyone she meets, both people and dogs alike, and is always ready to shower you with affection. At just around 4 months old and weighing 27 lbs, Nola is expected to stay on the smaller side for a husky. She’s already excelling at potty and crate training and is impressively smart for her age. With her medium energy, she’ll make an excellent companion for an active family who is ready to continue her training and take her on fun adventures! If you think you could be the perfect family to give Nola the love, security, and fun she deserves, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today and make this sweet girl a part of your family! Her adoption fee includes transport costs.
