Meet Daisy

Daisy is a sweet 10-year-old Dachshund/Poodle mix with long wire hair, a long body, and short legs. She had a difficult start in life with an owner who was unable to care for her, and after her owner passed away, she was surrendered to the humane society. At first, Daisy was terrified and scared, which made it difficult for her to be placed on the adoption floor. The shelter reached out to rescues for help, and that's when The Misfits Dog Rescue stepped in. Since then, Daisy has made remarkable progress, though she is still a little timid. Despite her shyness, she is incredibly affectionate and loves being by your side at all times. Daisy has a charming way of begging for treats and love using her little "praying hands." She is seeking a quiet, loving home where she can receive plenty of attention and care. Because she frightens easily, Daisy would do best in a home without children. She enjoys sleeping in bed with her people, often near the head, and is a perfect lap dog for seniors. Daisy is potty trained, knows how to use a pet door, and is in great health. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and has recently had a dental cleaning under anesthesia. Her adoption fee is $300. To apply, please visit www.misfitsdogrescue.org.
