Meet Sutherlin / Blair
General Notes | Bouncy, balanced Blair is all the fun of a puppy, with all the snuggly energy of a pocket pal! She is adventurous, adoring, and can't wait to find her forever family in Colorado! Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Personality | Blair is sweet, snuggly, and happy as can be to be around people and her foster siblings. She loves to explore, and is all things adorable! Story | Blair was rescued with her nine (!!) siblings and mama days after her mom gave birth on the streets in Houston, TX. A concerned citizen noticed their pregnant mama Honey, and immediately put out a plea for rescue. MHLM jumped into action, and a dedicated foster drove over four hours and searched for the family in order to save them. Since her rescue, she has been in a foster home in Houston before recently making her way to Colorado! Other Dogs | Blair is great with other dogs! In addition to her nine siblings and mama, this girl has been in foster with other pups and does well with all of them. She is sweet as can be, and learning the ropes from bigger dogs. She would love a doggy sibling! Cats | Blair has not been cat tested, but due to her age and sweet temperament, her fosters think she would do well in adapting to a house with kitties. Children | Blair is great with kiddos and would love to be in a house with little humans! She loves to nap, be held, and play. Training | In progress - Blair is still very young, and is taking training day by day. She is working on both potty and crate training, and is learning sit! Leash | Blair is still little, and isn't walking independently on a leash yet. She will learn as her training progresses! Activity Level | Moderate - Blair is your typical lab pup who enjoys naps and exploring!Health Notes | Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
