Meet Bluey
Bluey, the black beauty with the long brindle legs, is a 4 ½-month-old bundle of joy! Silky and soft and 15 pounds, she’s easygoing and sweet, loves cuddling and snuggling with her fosters, resting her head on them and rolling over for belly rubs. She not only loves sleeping on her back with her tummy totally exposed (it’s adorable), she loves sleeping either curled up next to her fosters or in a pile with the other puppies. Happily holding her own with her larger doggy foster friends, she loves playing with all of her fellow fosters, loves all toys, especially tennis balls, chewing bones, playing fetch and going for walks. A calm passenger in the car, motivated by food, toys and love, with life as her true motivator, she will sometimes “sit” for treats, accepting them gently, is learning to play bite and jump up on people less, and is at work on her leash, crate and house-training. Given her sweetness, she would probably do well with calm, respectful children in a loving home, preferably without cats, with patient adopters to perfect her manners, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her content, mentally and physically fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $395 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can't accept calls at this time.
