Meet Speckles

It is a good thing that Speckles has such long legs and a regal bearing because he certainly has a big sparkling personality that shines for everyone he meets. A good citizen dropped him off at a southern shelter and now he is searching for his forever home and family.Speckles is a hound mix but to look at him suggests he has a lot of beagle in him with his brown and white coat and big floppy ears. Speckles is already 1.5 years old and weighs 45 pounds and is at his adult weight. Speckles loves going for car rides and makes a great companion for children and other dogs. It is not known if Speckles has spent any time with cats.His house and crate training are in process. He is a good boy who will benefit from consistent lessons with positive reinforcement so he can master the skills required to be a household hound. This boy is ready to make his debut as he is already leash trained. Walking around the neighborhood and showcasing his incredible leash walking skills is a dream come true. If crate training is planned, Speckles needs a crate that is big enough for him to turn around and lie down. It is a mystery where Speckles spent time before a good Samaritan rescued him so he could find a new home and family. If you like a little mystery and a lot of love, attention and adventure, Speckles will make your new year the best year ever.The adoption fee for Speckles is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete a comprehensive application, interview and home inspection. The final step in the process is explaination and completion of adoption contract. The adoption fee is $450 inclusive of all vetting and transportation charges.
