Meet Windsor

Bow down to greatness – meet Windsor, the king of cuddles and your future best friend! He is a Shepherd mixed breed with a medium brindle coat, gorgeous enough to make you do a double take. This dashing young fellow is around 5 and a half months old.Windsor weighs about 25 pounds currently because he is still young. He is still a small boy now, but because of his breed, he is considered a large breed, and it is estimated that he will reach over 60 pounds. He is great with other dogs and children and would fit perfectly into a family with either or both. His relationship with felines is unknown as he has not had exposure to a cat since coming into rescue. He is currently housetrained, and crate trained, however his leash training is still a work in progress. Please keep in mind that since he is still a young boy, he still may make mistakes, and it is important to be patient as he adjusts to his new life with his forever family. He would do well with a family that can provide him ample exercise, continued training and lots of socialization. He has medium energy levels, so as much as he would enjoy all-day outdoor time, he would also be content on rainy, cozy days on the couch. With his regal demeanor and loving nature, Windsor is ready to become the king of your heart and home. His kind and gentle soul is ready for a family to give him the royal treatment he deserves. Could he be the perfect companion for your family? Come meet him today! The adoption fee for Stevie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
