Meet Amber
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Gentle, calm, sweet, low maintenance. Be sure to watch her video! Amber is a small 5yo female purebred AKC golden retriever who was surrendered by her owner in Mississippi after she delivered her final litter of puppies in December. Friendly and well-socialized, never meets a stranger, typical happy golden retriever temperament. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Playful with moderate activity level outside and settles down quickly in the house. Good house manners. Housebroken but never crated because she doesn’t need to be. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with her people. AKC registration. OFA Clearance for hips and elbows.Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 50 pounds. AWESOME golden retriever will make a wonderful companion for a family who loves the breed. Here's a note from the foster mom: What a nice dog! Sweet, loving and affectionate. Very well behaved, just wants to please. She had lived outside her whole life but adjusted quickly to the house and I think really enjoys being inside with her people! Good with my personal dogs, she’s submissive to them. Ignores the cat. Plays sweetly with the young kids next door. Enjoys toys, likes to fetch, rides great in the car, good on the leash.
