Introducing the Monsters Inc puppies! We have three handsome little boys – Sully, Mike, and Randall, and one sweet little girl - Boo. They are all eager to find their new homes. These pups were found without their momma as newborn puppies. They were nursed to health by a local shelter and their subsequent foster family. Mike’s foster family reports that as the smallest of the bunch, he holds a special place in their hearts. His foster mom bonded with him particularly through his initial fight for survival. He is the one to watch what the others are doing and then follow along. He is a good snuggler and still has the best puppy breath! His namesake may have one eye, but Mike would like you to know he has two! He likes playing with toys or following whatever his siblings are doing. When not playing, this affectionate little dude is ready to chill, maybe for movie time on the sofa?! He’ll sleep while you watch a movie… maybe Monster’s Inc? Being so young, Mike would love to find a family who has the time and patience to raise a puppy; he has so much to learn! He'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs - and especially puppies - attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog, and it also helps to strengthen that ever-important bond between the dog and his human family. It’s lots of fun, too! Puppies are a lot of work and require a strong commitment to teaching them obedience, socializing with other dogs and people, playing with them and loving them to pieces. It takes a lot of time, energy and patience to bring up a puppy and it’s totally worth it! If you're ready to make that awesome commitment to bring up Mike, then fill out an application today! Wet puppy kisses and warm, furry snuggles are awaiting! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
