Meet Maggie
Our miss Maggie will knock your socks off with her sweetheart personality. Her good looks are just the tip of the iceberg. A cool laid back gal, Maggie is looking for a cozy spot in the heart of her family. Maggie is around 6 and a half years old and is a basset hound. Her current weight is around 45 pounds. Maggie was brought into rescue as an owner surrender due to no fault of her own. She knows her future is bright as can be and she is sure to make a great canine companion. Maggie is good with other dogs but has not been tested with young children or cats since coming into rescue. She is ready to learn the ropes of house and crate training but has already mastered her leash training. Although she is not a mover and shaker performing the slow and steady with her lower energy level, she will still benefit from regular walks. Maggie will enjoy leisurely strolls in the neighborhood giving her ample opportunities to take in new sights and smells. A best friend like Maggie is its own reward. Having her in your daily life will ve a dream come true. Once you hang out with Maggie, you will know you are in the presence of your next best friend. The adoption fee for Maggie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
