Introducing the Country Litter: Loretta, Reba, George, and Dolly! These four lab mix puppies are sweet, soulful, and full of country charm, just like their namesakes! With big personalities and even bigger hearts, each one of these pups is ready to bring a little country magic into your home. Loretta – a true showstopper! Like her siblings she just loves following the human kids around the house. When she's not playing follow the leader she enjoys a good cuddle and play session. Reba – Full of playful puppy energy and loves to follow the human children around the house and yard like she's a part of the band. Incredibly sweet and a joy to spend time with. George – Calm, cool, and collected, George has a heart of gold. This handsome boy loves to be close to his people and has a quiet but sweet demeanor that’s bound to win you over. He’s always up for a nap or a gentle belly rub. Dolly – Dolly is as sweet as a country ballad! With her soft puppy eyes and loving nature, she charms everyone she meets. She’s a natural-born snuggler who enjoys lap time and is happiest being close to her humans, particularly with her foster family's 3 year old daughter - they are two pees in a pod! These pups have been socialized and loved in foster care, learning the basics and showing off their unique personalities every day. They’re looking for forever homes where they can grow, play, and be cherished as part of the family. Bring a little country heart to your life and apply to adopt one of these cuties today! Medical Note:  A littermate of this dog is being treated/has been treated for demodectic mange, a non-contagious skin condition. As there is thought to potentially be a genetic component to predisposition to this condition, this dog has been preventatively treated though does not currently show any bald patches and/or thin fur in places.  Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (e.g., transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc.). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months after adoption for adults or until 18 months of age for puppies.  Please see here for more information on demodectic mange and talk with your Adoption Counselor about this condition.  Please check with your vet if you have any questions or concerns about this medical history. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
