We are a foster-based rescue. We pull mainly from the south. We were poorly neglected' abundant, on the killing list, etc. The animals are vetted and transported to us. We also try to help local owner surrenders animals. Cats, we usually take the seniors who are hard to display.We all have a strong love for animals and will save as many as possible.

Meet Evee

Another sweet girl counting her remaining days.  Evee only has 10 days left until her fate is sealed.  She is currently in a Texas shelter and will be euthanized unless an adopter is found.  We are trying to find an adopter here for her that will literally save her life. Evee was found as a stray.  She appears to be a lab mix, around a year old, and weighs 45 pounds.  She is very sweet, does well in a crate and shows no signs of food aggression. She has been vaccinated and dewormed.  She needs to leave the Texas shelter ASAP, but it can happen only if she has a home to go to.  Friends for Life will work with the Texas shelter to bring her here on our next transport if she is adopted. Adoption Process
The fee is 350-500, depending on the specifics. Applicants are screened based on a vet reference and three personal references, and a virtual home visit. An agreement is signed
