Meet Ginny
Birthdate: 10/02/2024Breed: One of a kindWeight: Still growing!Give a howl-o to Ginny, the canine equivalent of a supermodel with a touch of mischief! With her stunning black and grey coat and those steely brown/grey eyes that could make even the toughest wolf feel insecure, you might be tempted to think we’re running a wolf adoption agency. But hold your horses (or should we say leashes?)—she’s just a sweet, inquisitive pup who’s more interested in romping around with her furry friends than howling at the moon.Ginny has mastered the art of stealing chicken from your pockets—yes, you read that right! She’s not just looking for love; she’s on a culinary quest. If you thought your snacks were safe, think again! This little thief has an uncanny ability to sniff out treats from miles away. So if you're ready for some playful antics and unexpected pocket raids, Ginny is your girl! Just remember to keep an eye on those chicken nuggets; they might not be there when you reach for them! The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected] for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
