Meet Cotton
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Cotton is a much beloved senior dog who became homeless when her owner died and was taken in by her longtime veterinarian as she awaits adoption. Cotton is a 10 year old female shepherd mix who has lived her entire life with her elderly owner. She’s calm, low energy, low maintenance. A little bit shy with new people but warms up quickly. Fine with cats. Fine with other calm, low energy dogs. Fine with older kids, teenagers for instance. Good house manners. Housebroken but never crated because she doesn’t need to be. Obeys basic commands. Cotton is blind in one eye due to a cataract but she gets around just fine. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, weighs about 65 pounds. Cotton’s ideal adopter would be a retired single or couple with a quiet, calm home environment who would love a sweet, loving senior dog.
