Meet KATIE
Ka Ka Katie, Beautiful Katie. You are the Gr Gr Girl for Me!!! And yes Katie is that and a lot more. She is a 7 month old Australian Shepherd Border Collie mix who weighs 32 lbs (there is a lot of fur there). Katie is a great girl who is looking for the right active family that understands her breed and will help her to become the awesome girl we know that she can be. Katie is super smart and has had group and private training. She knows sit, shake, stand/up, down, leave it and give it. She is working on stay and coming to her name. Katie is currently in a home with no fenced in yard and young children. She needs a forever home with a fenced in yard and older children that are part of an active family that will make sure she gets the exercise and stimulation that she really needs. She also needs additional socialization with other dogs. She is good with other dogs but has not had much one on one. She is also OK with cats. She will chase them but only wants to play. Play is huge with Katie. She loves to play hide and seek. She is crate trained and working on her house manners. A little direct attention to that and she will be housebroken. A fenced in yard will help with that as well. Katie is spayed, current on all her shots, and microchipped. To learn more about Katie please contact Vivienne at [email protected] or 615/943-7311. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.
Adoption Process
All potential adoptors must complete the application request form on any dog. Before placing a dog with an adoptor Critter Companion conducts a vet check to ensure proper health, gets the dog up to date on all shots and neuters the dog.
