400Meet Biggie Smalls
Be prepared to be hypnotized! Meet Biggie Smalls! This 10-month old lowrider (with the juiciest thighs!) is little and big all at the same time and came to us from local animal control after his owner could no longer care for him. Biggie, Biggie, Biggie, can't you see? Sometimes your words (and meatball head) just hypnotize me. And we just love your flashy ways (and floppy ears). Guess that's why they broke, and you’re so paid (in treats, of course). The Notorious B.I.G. is a little less gangsta and a little more goody goody if you catch our drift. Like every dog, he is thriving by having consistency with routine and expectations and is a smarty-pants and super-fast learner. He has mastered basic commands in a short amount of time (sit, stay, leave it, go to his bed) and is slowing making progress on heeling with the help of treats, taken with the softest of lips. Biggie is East Coast all the way and doesn’t let a little cold weather keep him from enjoying the outdoors. He will practically do hip-hop flips when the coat comes out (clearly a parkour protégé), but he settles down great in the house with more of a laid-back attitude, checking in with his humans from time-to-time. He can be a scaredy cat on walks with gusts of wind and new noises but is learning the routine quickly and loves reassurance and redirection to ease his mind. Big Poppa loves meeting new friends with a super waggy tail…human and dog alike but says no thanks to cats (and vacuums, as chance would have it). And he loves, loves, loves a good ear scratch. Thug Life? More like Toy Life. Biggie is great with toys – non-destructive and loves benebones. Mo Money Mo Problems? Um, maybe. Biggie prefers the currency of treats above all else. He can be finicky at mealtimes but loves any and all treats. The Sky’s the Limit for this Unbelievable and round roly-poly. Because of a lack of history with kids, older kids would be best for this loveable beefcake. Biggie’s top 3 priorities: 1. A family who will continue training with a basic manners class. This little guy is smart, loves to learn, loves treats, and would have a blast while forming a bond with his family through formal training. 2. A family who will be patient as this laid-back, mellow dude settles quickly into a new routine. 3. A family who loves to love and be loved in return…Biggie has a LOT of love to give
