Meet Cupid Reindeer *LOCAL*

Age: 3 Months (as of 1/30/23) Weight:  13.4 Lbs.  (as of 1/27/23) Location: RI    This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. The reindeer puppies are going prance their way into your heart!    The litter is 5 females (Rudolph, Blitzen, Vixen, Cupid, Prancer) and 4 males (Comet, Donner, Dasher, Dancer) and they look to be Heeler mixes. All Reindeer pups have bobbed tails. They are happy, friendly, and playful little squirts who like to alternate between chasing and wrestling with each other or the resident big dogs, chewing on a squeaky toy, to snoozing up close with their humans for cuddles. Their foster homes do not have any cats or children, but they have met children while out and been respectful to them so far. They appear to have a moderate energy level but given their apparent breed mix they may grow into having higher energy and mental stimulation needs so adopters should be prepared for that. Given they are still so young they have not quite started on house, leash, or crate training, but given some time, patience, and a pocket full of treats they should pick these skills up in no time.    Reindeer Pup's  Backstory:   Shortly before the holidays, they, along with another litter of puppies, were found abandoned in a horse trailer just days before the cold snap that swept across the US in December. Our southern rescue partner was able to quickly place these puppies into foster homes to save them before the cold weather hit. They have now been vetted, well fed, and are ready to find their forever homes!   If you can't wait to go dashing in the snow with your very own reindeer puppy, don't wait to apply to adopt Cupid Reindeer today!   An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this.   To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/   To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see  HERE   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
