Meet Zee
Take out your dictionary and see how many adjectives you can find that mean sweet, loving, gentle and precious because you will run out of ways to describe the adorable Zee when you introduce him to your neighbors and friends. He is all those things and at 6 months old, this Beagle/Labrador mixed breed with big brown eyes and a creamy colored coat is just going to get happier when he settles down with his forever home and family.Zee, his mom, and his siblings were dumped on a street where, thankfully, they were found by a Good Samaritan who fostered them until they were brought into the shelter so they could be adopted. Ever since his rescue, Zee has been delighted by every dog and person he meets. Zee can seek belly rubs all day long and would love to be in a home with other dogs. He also is particularly delighted by children and is just as easy going and peaceful with cats. Zee is still growing, and he will likely be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when he is an adult. He currently weighs around 25 pounds.Zee is already house trained and continues to work on his leash and crate training. It is important to remember that rescue dogs and pups will have accidents as they transition to a new home and routine, but Zee will be fine if he has a regular routine with plenty of praise and affection. If crate training is planned, Zee needs a crate that is big enough for him to stand in, turn around in and lie down as he grows. Crates need to be warm welcoming places and must never be used for punishment. It is a mystery why anyone would just abandon Zee to an unknown fate, but it is no mystery that he is the most precious pup on the planet. That is a shared opinion of everyone that meets him. Adopt Zee and discover how much love one dog can inspire as he snuggles up against you for pats and a nap and all the good things a forever family can provide. The adoption fee for Zee is $500.
