Learn more about this event and sign up for 10am Early Entry HERE Age: 5 months (as of 10/20/23) Weight: 21.8-29.2 lbs (as of 10/4/23) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet the Higden litter! Are you looking for the perfect family dog? A Higden pup may be the one for you! Gandalf and his brother Sparkle Butter and sisters Red and Brownie are suspected to be German Shorthaired Pointer mixes and all are fantastic with children. Gandalf has a handsome chocolate coat and the scruffiest face. He has been successfully cohabitating with his siblings, his proud momma (a very laid-back lady), three young children, and cats. These pups have many amazing qualities. They are playful, affectionate, intelligent, outgoing, gentle, and goofy. They also have many hobbies including playing with toys, cuddling, playing with other pups (including chase, tug-o-war, bitey mouth), going on active adventures (such as walking, running, hiking, or swimming). Gandalf is quiet and clean in his crate, and his house and leash training are in progress. He will need an adopter committed to continuing this training. We strongly recommend that all of our puppies attend obedience training to learn commands, develop confidence, and socialize with other dogs. Think Gandalf would be the perfect addition to your family? You shall not pass on this opportunity to fill out an application to let him know! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
