Meet Sheena

Look at the flop on those ears! Sheena is a 8-month-old shepherd mix with a beautifully fluffy tan and white coat, and clearly the most adorable ears ever. She currently weighs 34 lbs., but she is still a growing girl! She is likely to be a medium-sized pup (25-50 lbs.) when fully grown.Sheena was a stray brought into a local shelter in South Carolina. She was a little shy to start but has slowly come out of her shell. Once she warms up to you, she truly is a friendly pup! She gets along well with other dogs and with kids, although we are not sure how she feels about cats. Sheena has low to medium energy, so she would do well with a family who can appreciate her laid-back attitude and who will provide plenty of couch cuddles!Sheena is working hard on her leash, crate, and house training, which are all in progress. She would love to join a family who will commit the time required to provide her with proper training and plenty of socialization, plus lots of play, exercise, and love!Bring Sheena home to see how this lovely pup will truly shine! The adoption fee for Sheena is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
