Meet Leo Heber

To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE   Age: ~ 5 months (as of 11/25/24) Weight: 39 lbs (as of 11/24/24) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Leo and his brother Lex the sweetest and goofiest puppies you'll ever come across. We are thinking they are a Labrador Retriever mix. The pup’s playful spirit is infectious, filling every room they enter with laughter and joy. They are bundle of fun, always ready to chase a ball or play a game of tug-of-war. Their sweet nature makes them the perfect companion for both adults and school-age children alike. Despite their young age, Leo and Lex are intelligent and quick to learn new tricks. Their goofy antics will keep you entertained for hours on end. Leo is housetrained and crate trained and working on walking on the leash and so far, so good! We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! The Heber pups playful and loving nature makes them the perfect addition to any family. They are just waiting for a forever home where they can share their love and happiness. Adopt Leo or Lex and let their joy fill your home. Heber pup’s story: They were found as strays and initially were placed in a shelter and are now living with a loving foster family and doing great! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
