Meet Roman
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Roman is a 2yo male German Shepherd Dog who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Calm, mellow, low maintenance. Well-socialized, loving, loyal, typical GSD temperament. Good with other dogs, living comfortably with other dogs in his foster home, enjoys Doggy Daycare a couple of times a week. Fine with cats (see video). And very gentle with children. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house. Housebroken but not crated because he doesn’t need to be. Roman understandably has some separation anxiety and his foster mom is working on that with him. Roman’s ideal adopter will be “a German Shepherd person” who understands the breed, is home a lot and willing to be patient with Roman while managing his separation anxiety. Obeys basic commands. Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 80 pounds. AWESOME young GSD will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!) for an active family who loves the breed.
