To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: ~ 4 Months (as of 2/7/2023) Weight: ~20-22 lbs (as of 1/17/2023) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet your Prince Charming! Charming is a super handsome lab mix that will charm his way right into your heart. He takes some time to settle into new situations/places and to get used to all the new things this world has to offer a young pup like him. He’s a pretty sensitive guy who is going to need a patient adopter to go slow to introduce him to new things, places and other dogs. He is very sweet and eager to please. He enjoys meeting new adults. He is very unsure of children. The ideal adopter for a guy like Charming will not have too many/too high of expectations for him right off the bat. He’s looking for a relatively quiet home, preferably with adults/calm humans to make him feel safe and that he can look to for guidance. He will give you lots of love in return for your patience and kindness. Charming’s Backstory: Charming was brought into rescue after being pulled from a shelter in AR with his littermates, Shrek and Fiona. They spent a little time in a loving foster home learning house manners and social skills. Apply to adopt Charming today! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
