Meet Dima! A snuggly and spunky five-and-a-half-year-old Siberian Husky mix from Carlsbad, CA, whose heart is as full of love as her plush squeaky toy collection. With her striking white, black, and silver-gray coat and those soulful, expressive icy blue eyes, Dima has a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world—and she’ll let you know it with her signature happy “talking"! Weighing in at a perfectly huggable 40 pounds, Dima is a medium-sized sweetheart with a big personality. She’s the ultimate companion for someone who loves the outdoors as much as they love a good cuddle session. Walks? She’s ready! Hikes? Even better! Snuggles on the couch after a long day? Count her in! Dima thrives in an active, engaged household where she can be part of the daily rhythm—because more than anything, she needs to be with her people. Formally trained and crate-trained, Dima knows her commands—sit, place, and heel—and is house-trained, microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on her vaccines. She's friendly with strangers, does well with other dogs, and is wonderfully gentle with young children. While her experience with cats is still a mystery, her easygoing and affectionate nature suggests she’s open to new friendships. Dima does best in a home with a fenced yard and a family who has time to spend with her throughout the day. Long stretches of alone time leave her feeling anxious and a bit vocal—true to her Husky roots, she’s not shy about singing the blues when she misses her humans! But when she’s with you, her goofy personality shines: she’ll cuddle close, give sweet kisses, and maybe even have a full-on chat if she's especially excited!
