Burlington County Animal Alliance

Burlington County Animal Alliance is a private, independent, 501(3)(c) nonprofit animal advocacy group, that was founded in 1999 by Lorraine Schrieber and Barb Giano who have a love for animals. To date, we have around 60 members of BCAA. We focus primarily on rescue and adoption of shelter dogs and cats in high kill shelters and surrounding areas in New Jersey. Our main focus is to make the public aware of the numbers of homeless dogs and cats there are in shelters and to promote adoption of these animals. We advocate spaying and neutering of all companion animals to counteract the overpopulation of dogs and cats and to end the tragedy of euthanizing healthy, unwanted companion pets.

Meet Moxy! This adorable 5-month-old, 18-pound pup is as sweet as they come! Moxy is a playful, affectionate little girl who loves to be around people and other dogs. She enjoys playing with anything she can find but has a special love for snuggling up with pillows and blankets.She is housebroken and even knows how to jump at the door to let you know when she needs to go out. She is also crate-trained and comfortable settling in her space. Moxy rides great in the car and loves to be in your lap while traveling. While she’s still learning to walk on a leash, she’s making progress and just needs a little patience as she gains confidence. She’s a quick learner and eager to please!Moxy is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly—she’ll run around and have fun, then happily curl up with you for snuggles.
