Meet Shih Tzu /Terrier mix

ADOPTION PENDING From Diane: These 5 adorable pups came to us on a Sunday when they were about 4 weeks old. I had just finished grocery shopping at Giant when the staff called me. The people that brought them in said that they found them in a field while they were walking their dog. The pups were covered in fleas and not in the best of shape. So I became their foster mom for the past few weeks. After several baths in Dawn dish soap and hours of flea combing I was finally able to rid them of the pesky fleas. I tried every nipple imaginable to get them to take their formula, but all they wanted to do was eat from a bowl. This was a real mess; imagine 5 puppies covered in formula and dog food. Lets just say they got very accustomed to baths. My family is going to have a really hard time parting with them. We would like to have approved applicants meet them in advance. The pups are in no way house trained, but I have been taking them out to potty several times a day so they will go as soon as their little feet hit the grass. 

Adoption Process
You will be required to fill out an application to adopt. You must provide a veterinarian reference or other references to complete the adoption process. If you are renting, you will also be required to provide us with information verifying that you are allowed to have pets. Adoption fees vary and include vaccines, deworming, topical flea control, heartworm testing, transport fees, food, boarding, medical care and spaying/neutering or a $75.00 Spay Neuter Refund Certificate.
