Polly and her family of 3 teenage puppies were found fending for themselves on the ESVA. They were trapped and brought to the local animal control. Our President, Susanne Hoshino, was struck by her lovely personality and friendly demeanor so as soon as a foster home opened up, we welcomed her to KMR. We believe she is dog and cat friendly and know she is people friendly, although a bit timid initially. She is easy to walk. She will be spayed mid September. Adoption donation includes all vaccinations, spay and microchip.
Adoption Process
Typically we intake from high kill shelters/animal control and public surrender. Animals are vetted then transferred to Rescue Partners or directly adopted to the public after spay/neuter application and background check/home check. Our adoption fee ranges from $150-350. Animals are required to be indoor only companion animals, if the adoption fails the animal must be returned to KMR.
