Meet Zeus

Our local animal control removed Luna,a sweet pitbull terrier mix, from a residence due to neglect and starvation.  She had a broken leg which had to be amputated and while in recovery delivered 3 surprise puppies.   Zeus is the largest of Luna's pups and we expect him to be a big boy as mom is about 60 lbs and should be closer to 70. He is a happy boy and frequently plays with his brothers and is always happy to see a person enter the kennel. He is a chow hound for sure.  To apply to adopt any of our animals, all other animals in the home must be neutered and up to date on basic shots. Dogs must be on heartworm preventative and you must have a good vet reference. For puppies, we prefer homes where the adults have flexible schedules.   See our Facebook page for more photos and videos of their journey.   

Adoption Process
Typically we intake from high kill shelters/animal control and public surrender. Animals are vetted then transferred to Rescue Partners or directly adopted to the public after spay/neuter application and background check/home check. Our adoption fee ranges from $150-350. Animals are required to be indoor only companion animals, if the adoption fails the animal must be returned to KMR.
