Meet Cooper IV

Cooper IV is ALL beagle and SO ADORABLE! He can be just a little bit timid sometimes when first meeting people, but he really likes people and warms up quickly. Once he gets to know you, he is very excited to greet you every time he sees you. He loves cuddles and is totally enjoying sleeping in the bed with his foster mom and dad every night. They do work outside the home so Cooper does spend some time in the crate, which he handles well. He totally enjoys the company of other dogs but can get pretty vocal when he sees them when he's on leash. Otherwise, he's as good as any other beagle on leash, just wanting to sniff and smell all along the way. He enjoys playing with other dogs and has no trouble sharing toys or humans when it's time for affection. He's made straight A's in house training in his new foster home, but he learned the dog door out to the fenced yard in his first hour there. Smart little guy! Cooper is good with kids but uncertain around cats and he can be sensitive to sudden noises. Interestingly, he does not appear to be extremely food motivated like some beagles are. We would really like Cooper to have a fenced yard and another dog to pal around with and he definitely enjoys human affection. He is up to date on everything and ready to go on sleepover.
