Meet Penny

Penny was found in the Ocala National Forest with a large bag of food that was chewed up.  A nice couple found her and tried to coax her away however she seemed determined to stay put.  They gave her time and water and she quickly realized they were there to help her.  We are not sure how long she was left but did have quite a few ticks and fleas on her.  Penny is a sweet girl who loves people and other dogs. On day ONE she did have to go to the vet to make sure everything was ok and had to ride with several cats over to the vet.  The cats were in carriers and crying out in protest however Penny never barked or growled at them.  Instead she sat there listening to their stories.

Adoption Process
First step is to fill out an adoption application online. Once that has been received, an adoption screener is assigned to the application to ensure the pet is a a good fit.
