Meet Spud

ADOPTION PENDINGSpud is a country boy who came to us from a rural shelter in Florida. He sports a few scars on his sweet face and a ragged ear. From this point forward, Spud would like to be a lap dog, he LOVES affection! He is beginning to learn about playing with toys (see video below), and does well with other dogs. Foster mom sometimes takes him to daycare and he gets great reports! He is food motivated, listens well and walks well on leash too. Spud has one skill we learned about from his shelter stay - he is an expert fence climber! However, his foster mom says he bonded with her quickly becoming a bit of a velcro dog - so it was a non-issue He is not a fan of his crate but foster mom continues to work on training him by making positive associations... feeding him there and providing high-value treats which he only gets in the crate. We do think that Spud would do best in a home where he has company most of the time. Please give this lovely boy people loving home he has so far been denied.
