Meet Smidge- adoption pending
Meet SMIDGE Recently, Smidge, Sid, and their sister Ruger lost their home. Ruger was adopted by her fosters - happy tail to come! - but Sid & Smidge are on the hunt for their happily ever after. Smidge & Sid, we were told, were a bonded pair with just one “good” eye between them. However, after spending time with them, it seems that’s not really the case. Smidge and Sid are fine without one another - as long as they have other dogs in their home. Smidge - the blonde, one-eyed chihuahua - is incredibly playful! She is looking for a home with a furry friend to whom she can play the pesky puppy sister role. She loves everyone, every thing, and thinks life is SUPER great ALL the time! She’s basically Cheerleader speed! Sid & Smidge aren’t a pair - they are just familiar with one another having lived together for many years. If you’re interested in adopting either Sid or Smidge, applications can be found @maxxandme.org. These dogs NEED their people. They’re both very loving and of course out of sorts a bit having lost their home. Adoption donation includes vaccinations up to date, spayed and microchipped and is $250 Maxx & Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed (missing information may slow the process, so please take your time and be thoughtful in your answers). Adoption Process
Adoption fees vary. Application required, reference check, vet reference check, home visit and once approved meet and greet. Adoption contract at the time of adoption once approved. Our rescues are always returnable to our rescue and is made part of the contract.
