Meet Sterling

PUPPY PRE-ADOPTION Sterling was found as a stray on a busy road with his brother Huston and his mother Star. 4 Lucky Dogs brought them into the rescue, coordinated their medical needs, and are now arranging for the dogs to get adopted into forever homes. He is a chihuahua mix who is around 13 weeks old. Sterling is a bit shy and takes a moment to get comfortable then loves on that person. He enjoys toys and is ready to play at ANY time. Sterling’s adoption fee is $600 which covers the vaccination shots, neuter, and microchip. Due to his young age Sterling has only had one set of shots and needs to receive two more sets including rabies. Getting those shots is a requirement before adoption can be considered as final. He can go to his permanent home now, but the adopter must be willing to take him to one of the rescue’s veterinary clinics in Riverview, Orlando, St. Petersburg, or Sarasota two different times to receive those shots. The cost of these shots is already included in the adoption fee. The average lifespan for this breed is 15 years. Therefore, Sterling’s adopter will need to be prepared to care for him for around 14 ½ more years so he will not have to move to a different home. Note - Sterling can be adopted by himself or can be adopted with his brother Huston. Each dog’s adoption fee is $600. ------------- ***We are a foster-based rescue with no shelter or facility to view our dogs, and our address is a mailing address only. Please be patient as we are an all-volunteer rescue, and our rescue dogs are in various loving foster homes throughout West-Central Florida.
