I am looking for my forever family! My foster mom says I’m beautiful and soft but I’m more interested in staring longingly into your eyes, playing fetch, and meeting my new siblings so we can play chase in the yard. I love toys and will need things to chew on, including toys and bones. I’m a little shy, especially with men, but I build trust with them and am good once I get to know them.  I am very social with dogs and cats and am really good on walks. I have been learning the command sit and my foster mom is teaching me patience with my food and being let out of my kennel. I’m happy to be in the kennel, but getting there takes a little convincing, and sometimes a nudge. I like to follow my foster mom around the house and I boop the back of her leg as we walk through the house so she knows I’m still following her! I’d be best with a home that has another dog to be my friend so we can play.   Due to COVID-19 we are a little more limited on volunteers and the availability (and safety) of home visits.   Local applications are given first priority and some out of town areas will not be able to be processed.
