Meet Buttercup. This 4-year-old Chinese Crested beauty, weighing just under 10 lbs, is ready to embark on a new chapter in her life. Buttercup came to us after being used for breeding, and now her days of living solely for others are behind her. She’s been spayed and is fully prepared to find her forever home. Buttercup is a gentle soul who thrives with the companionship of another dog. A home with another canine friend and a fenced-in yard is required to help her feel secure and provide a safe space for her to explore. She’s a bit skittish and might be a flight risk on walks until she has settled into her new surroundings, so a safe, contained environment is a must. With time, patience, and love, Buttercup will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. If you’re ready to give this sweet girl the home she deserves, she’s waiting to meet you.PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good.
