Meet Marigold. This sweet 5-year-old Chinese Crested mix is ready to bloom in her forever home. While she may take a little time to warm up, Marigold's true personality shines once she feels safe. She’ll happily climb into your lap, requesting head scratches, and stay there until you’re both content. Marigold is a low-energy girl who enjoys a calm environment. She gets along well with cats and other dogs but thrives with the company of another dog for companionship. To adopt Marigold, a home with another dog and a fenced-in yard is required to ensure she feels secure and has a safe space to explore. She’s house-trained if taken out regularly, sleeps quietly in her crate at night, and would never say no to snuggling in bed.PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good.
