Brantley Animal Rescue Coalition

My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

Meet BEACON

BARC welcomes BEACON to rescue. He was born the middle of January during our freezing weather and ice storm. His mom was abandoned and all they had was a dilapidated plastic dog house for shelter. It is a miracle any survived. But they are tough and lovable at the same time. They have flourished with a little love and care and come running when they see you with their puppy bounce. They are the perfect age to integrate with other pets and would be the most wonderful companions. They are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and rescue pays for spaying and neutering when they are of age. You can apply for Beacon at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com.

Adoption Process
The person must fill out an online application and be approved. They sign a contract and are given a copy of the health record. Our adoption fees range from $100-$350 depending on the adoptability of the pet.
