My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

Meet Melody

BARC welcomes Melody Born 1/7/25 female Bulldog mix she was surrendered with her mom and siblings.  She is microchipped, has started age appropriate vaccines, worming, heartworm, flea prevention.  She will need puppy classes, socialization, and a fenced yard to play in. She will make a great addition to any family. To adopt her you can apply at www.brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com

Adoption Process
The person must fill out an online application and be approved. They sign a contract and are given a copy of the health record. Our adoption fees range from $100-$350 depending on the adoptability of the pet.
