My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

Meet Monique

BARC welcomes Monique Born 1/7/25 female Bulldog mix she was surrendered with her mom and siblings.  She is microchipped, has started age appropriate vaccines, worming, heartworm, flea prevention.  She will need puppy classes, socialization, and a fenced yard to play in. She will make a great addition to any family. This affectionate and loving puppy would be an ideal companion and is at the perfect age to socialize with other pets. Adoption Process
The person must fill out an online application and be approved. They sign a contract and are given a copy of the health record. Our adoption fees range from $100-$350 depending on the adoptability of the pet.
