Hi there! I’m Canela. I came to the shelter as a stray on September 30, 2024, and I’m still getting used to my new surroundings. I’m a bit shy and need some time to warm up to new people. I’m quite independent and enjoy doing my own thing, but with patience and love, I can be a loyal friend. I’m looking for someone who understands that I’ll need time to feel comfortable. Don’t worry—I’m up to date on my vaccines, microchipped, and spayed, ready to find my forever home. If you’re patient and kind, I can’t wait to meet you! We strongly recommend calling the shelter between 11am and 4pm to discuss more details about my background with our behavior team!
