Meet Pancho

Pancho was living in a home that could not take care of him properly.  A neighbor intervened by taking him but was unable to keep him because her other dogs did not want a newcomer in their home.   Because of his past, Pancho is a little skittish if he is approached quickly.  He fears he will be hurt...poor guy...so he must be approached slowly. For many senior dogs, it is best to speak aloud and not approach from behind as sight/hearing tends to get fuzzy with age. Pancho seems to be food assertive and will nip when food or treats are given or bowls taken. He needs to build trust that people will not hurt him or take his food from him. Pancho's ideal home would be one that is quiet and with an owner that would be patient as Pancho learns to trust. A home without children or visiting children is best because of his nervousness.

Adoption Process
First step is to fill out an adoption application online. Once that has been received, an adoption screener is assigned to the application to ensure the pet is a a good fit.
