He's a playful guy, loves chasing a tennis ball. And he’s also incredibly people-oriented—don’t be surprised if he climbs right into your lap for some love and affection! Max spent a few days with a foster family who described him as downright "awesome". He has a great personality, knows the commands for sit, come, stay, and he walks nicely on leash. At just 1 year old and 48 pounds, Max is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated—ready to bring joy and energy into your life! A person adopting an animal must be 18 years of age or older or have a parent or guardian present to sign adoption papers. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards for adoptions. Adoption of an animal is made with the understanding that an employee of Animal Services may visit you to check for compliance with our adoption policies.
