A Forever Home Animal Rescue

Our organization was established in 2012. We take in dogs from other organizations (to include those at high kill shelters), strays, and owner surrenders. We obtain all necessary veterinary care for the dogs, to include treating sick dogs, spay/neuter, vaccines, and flea prevention, heartworm treatment, and deworming. We also work on socialization skills with those dogs that need a little extra assistance. We also work with trainers if dogs show behavioral issues. We want all dogs to have the opportunity to have a second to finding a forever home.

Meet Millie

Millie is a 2 year old full breed French Bulldog weighing 16 pounds. She is a very loving and affectionate girl.. Millie does have a Stage 3/6 Heart Murmur and 2 of her vertebrae are not fully developed. Millie is active for a bit and then she tires out which is known to happen with Frenchieƒ??s. She lays around in the yard when she is outside, however she should not be left outside any longer than 15 minutes as Frenchieƒ??s are known to have breathing issues due to there flat noses. She gets along with other dogs, cats and children as the foster has other dogs & cats and her nieces come over for visits to play with the dogs. She always wants attention and love and she will nip at your hand or arm to get your attention for pets and kisses. Her adoption donation is $750 which includes her spay, vaccinations and microchip. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. She is currently in a foster home so we are requesting an approved application prior to the meet and greet. She is anxiously waiting for her forever home! We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Here is the link: https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html

Adoption Process
An adoption application must be completed and approved by the rescues adoption coordinator (vet checks and references are required), a meet & greet with family members and other pets in some cases, adoption fee, and contract required. In some cases a home visit is required.
