ADOPTION PENDINGSprocket and his friends, Widget and Hiccup were found as strays in rural Alabama. No one claimed them and we were contacted and asked if we could take them. Fortunately we had enough foster homes available and said YES! At this writing Sprocket has only been with us for about a day so we have much more to learn about him. So far we can share that he is timid with people and submissive to other dogs, but he is friendly and very gentle. We are very optimistic that a few days in his foster home will give him confidence and we will see more of his personality. Sprocket tested negative for heartworms (yay!) but will need to be checked out by our vet and microchipped. His appointment is a few days before Christmas so, depending on his behavioral assessment, Sprocket should be ready for adoption after the holidays. Stay tuned for updates!
