A FUN & HAPPY PUPPY:  Approx. 4 months old / Approx. 29 lbs. & growing  Hi there, I’m Allie! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control – no idea how I landed there, but I’m thankful I was rescued!  I got quite sick when I arrived, but thankfully with great medical care and dedicated volunteers to take care of me, I have fully recovered and I’m raring to go!  I’m also cute as a button! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I liked them, so if you have a nice dog that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over and because I’m in the mouthy stage of puppyhood. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as a friendly, fun, playful, and super sweet puppy! I’m sure you will agree! / My energy Level: 5-7.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ commands. I also respond well to ‘no’ when I get too mouthy with the volunteers. I look forward to learning even more. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’m having accidents on the shelter schedule, so I’ll need my new family to potty train me. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I just love belly rubs, toys, rolling in the grass, treats, and running around, I also really like the Lobster Nyla bones at the shelter, so please get me a couple of those. I like carrying a toy on my walks and it helps me not to get over excited and jumpy. / I’m a bit scared of traffic noise near the shelter, so let’s find a quiet area to walk. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email. Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family. We do require an interview, references and a contract. Must be 21 or over to adopt. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home. Dogs: Our adoption fee is $299. Each dog that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash: Spay or Neuter Surgery Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella) De-Worming Microchip Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats.
