Meet Annalise

A CALM & ADORABLE LAP DOGGIE:  Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 10 lbs. Hello – I’m Annalise!  Mostly Mutts recued me from animal control, and I am so glad to be on my journey to my new home with their help.  I’m soaking up all the love in a great foster home, and I look forward to having a home of my very own soon – perhaps with YOU! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I like all of the dogs I have met while in my foster home.  I will bark if they bark, but I’ve been friendly and interested in every dog I see.  My foster says, if properly introduced, I will likely be a friend to all. If you have a nice gentle doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / I completely ignore the cats in my foster home, so I would likely live nicely with dog-friendly kitties. / I’ve not met kids in my foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers or very young kids that may fall on me as I’m small and have luxating patellas in my rear legs (see medical).   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet girl who my fosters just adore!  I’ve been easy-going with a social and affectionate nature.  I “expect to find love wherever I seek it” and I am happy to meet new people. I’m an adorable and sweet girl who quickly charms everyone I’ve met.  I am also a little lap lover who is pretty quiet, too.  I would really love a work-/stay-at-home type family member to hang out with. / My energy level is 2-4. My foster reports that I’m really only active if I’m following them from room to room or if I’m being left behind. The rest of the time, I’ve been content to rest in a dog bed near my people.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am familiar with the terms ‘bed’ and ‘belly rub’, and perhaps you can teach me more. I also walk well on a leash for short walks, just give me time to catch up and let’s walk slowly due to my luxating patellas. My fosters carry me up and down the stairs for my safety. / I am not crated in my foster home and don’t care to be separated from my people by the baby gate.  I just want to be where they are. / I will use pee pads well in my foster home, but I prefer to potty outside.  My foster knows my cue - I will cry to signal I want to go out.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I am quite the foodie and am never late to mealtime or a delicious treat – though please don’t allow me to become overweight.  Did I mention BELLY RUBS earlier?  Because they are the BEST!  My tail wags rapidly as I roll over asking for those – so adorable!  I love being snuggled up with any of my people – I don’t play favorites!  I’m really good for car rides, too. / I don’t like being left out of the goings-on in my foster home, so include me in your daily routine, please.  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I have luxating patellas in both rear knees, which cause me to walk a little wonky, and slower than usual.  They don’t seem to cause me pain and I don’t let it get me down, but it is noticeable.  I take a daily joint supplement (Cosequin) to keep my joints feeling good and there are medications I can take in the future if they start causing me pain. There is a stabilization surgery for that, but due to my age, it may not be recommended – you could talk with your vet.  I needed a good dental cleaning when I arrived and I have had that now.  I was missing some teeth and had about 7 more removed during the cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again.  I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets.
