Meet Sasha
A SWEET LITTLE LADY: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 24 lbs. Hi, my name is Sasha! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am happy to be in the great care of the wonderful volunteers here. I came to Mostly Mutts heartworm positive, but I'll be treated for that soon. I’m excited to announce that I am now ready to find my very own furever family, so come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a sweet, friendly girl with a calm and gentle nature. I was even super patient during a pretty extensive ear cleaning and a good girl for my shelter bath. I definitely see myself as a lap dog, so save a comfy spot for me. Though intimidated by the car lights while on my walk, I grew more confident as my walk went on, so you could say I am a brave, adaptable girl. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer. So far, I have mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands, so check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've only had a handful of accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can fully master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: My favorite time of day is when the volunteers come spend time with me. I so enjoy being with people and love all the affection that comes my way, and I think that laps are just the best! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Sadly, I wasn't kept on heartworm prevention in my previous home, so I'm HW positive. The good news is that I'll be treated for that in a few months and Mostly Mutts will cover the cost of that treatment with their vet, so local adoption please. I hope to be with my family before treatment starts! I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly.
