Meet Tot
‘SPUDS’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 6 months old / Approx. 29 lbs. & growing Hello! I’m Tot - one of the two adorable Spuds themed pups. My brother and I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and couldn’t be happier! I have been soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers and my foster family, and now it is time for me to find a family of my very own. So excited! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my sibling and would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I enjoyed the company of the kids in my foster home (ages 11-13). So, if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may accidentally bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a friendly girl with a super sweet nature! I’m always excited to see my people, so I can be a bit jumpy. My foster says I am quite smart and approach everything with gusto, i.e. I play hard and nap hard – lol. Happy and loving, I am sure to bring a smile to my new family’s faces! I love my foster family and accept strangers too – just give me a little time to get to know them. / My energy level is currently 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. I already know the ‘sit’ and ‘down’ commands, and my foster says I am very smart and love treats, so my training should be fun for both of us. / My crate manners are good in my foster home. / I‘ve had pretty good potty habits in my foster home – going to the back door to alert when I need to go out. I did have an accident while hanging out upstairs with one of the kids, so know that I am not fully potty trained and that you will need to finish training me. • LIKES/DISLIKES: Being with people for great play sessions makes me a happy girl! I do love to puppy chew, so have chew toys ready for me, please. My leash manners have improved in my foster home, so I will be a great walking companion – but keep a good hold on my leash, because I LOVE to chase small, fast-moving critters, and leaves - lol. I’m a happy pup with a real joy for life which includes mealtime, so a slow feeder is recommended for me. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
